Originally custom-made for a pediatric
speech therapist, "Brighteyes" is designed for use under
professional or other adult supervision, to encourage speech in very
young children.
The threshold of sound to which Brighteyes
responds may be set by a variable
sensitivity control. This is combined with the ON/OFF switch and is
easily accessible. The electronics, including
the battery, is housed in a neat black box which slides into a
zipped compartment at the rear of the “cuddly".
